3+ Ways to Make Quick Money during ASUU Strike

In one of my previous posts, I highlighted some profitable things that students can do to make the most of the ASUU strike. However, one thing is missing.

What is that? Just a second.

The ongoing industrial action is like the tale of two elephants fighting inwhich the grass suffers. Here, students are the grass whose future are being trampled upon.

We must understand that this is not the first time in the history of Nigeria that ASUU will embark on a strike. Since 1999, ASUU has embarked on strike on fifteen different occasions. The ongoing warning strike is the sixteenth.

What baffles more however is the duration of the ASUU warning strike. One month?! If the conditions are not met within four weeks, don’t you think ASUU would go in full force? How long would that last?

I dread to think that the strike is extended. It would be an act of cruelty against innocent students. Still, I feel that this is war. A long film that might not end anytime soon. But, that is meat for another day.

In addition to the 5 Profitable Things to Do During ASUU Strike, the crux of this post is to show you three ways to earn quick money in four weeks.

3 Ways to Earn Money During ASUU Strike

1. Grab a Gig on Fiverr

One of the surest platforms to earn big is Fiverr. Ain’t talking of some $5-$10 shit. The platform has grown beyond petty business.

If you know your onions and play your cards right on Fiverr, you can make as low as $100 in a day. That’s a whooping sum, isn’t it?

What many people don’t know is that any skill can be monetised on Fiverr. Writing, Photography, Gaming, Editing, Programming, anything. Anything?

Here is a small GIST.

Did you know that you can make money from chatting? Yeah, you heard me right. In a particular gig called community management, you can make a great deal of money by managing people’s social media channels and groups. Just some simple stuff. Keeping your client’s community busy by engaging the audience.

See what people are doing on Fiverr.

You should stop hoeing around and convert your skill to a gold mining gig too.

2. Take on Laundry and Cleaning Services

Another quick way to earn money during ASUU one month warning strike is by taking on Laundry and Home Cleaning services.

Indeed, this business is underrated, but, trust me, it is profitable one.

Most office workers or business persons have little or no time for themselves let alone their dirty laundry and home. This where you come in. For some token, offer to clean their homes and do their laundry.

Since the goal is to earn big, you need to get few hands to work together and cover a lot of ground.

While at it, however, do not sacrifice quality service for money. Quality service is the soul of business. It is a propeller. It drives you to prosperity.

3. Run a Tutorial

Sounds cliche? Maybe.

But, we are in that season when O’level students and admission seekers would do anything to pass their exams. Again, it is the time to take advantage of their desperation and earn some money.

During this period of one month, get your self busy and earning by organising masterclasses on difficult subjects for exam candidates. You can also add selling of materials and past questions to the hustle.

As a student of higher learning who has information, tips and tricks on how to pass Jamb, Waec or Neco, people will be ready to patronise you.
