A 28-year-old farmer, Kaptain Kaston has been reportedly attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen on his farmland at Abojukopo area of Idiyan, Igangan, Oyo State.

Naija Banquet gathered that Kaston was almost returning home when he was waylaid by a gang of three killer herdsmen on Friday evening.

According to reports, the victim was first molested and then asked to keep his brutal experience to himself.

However, one of the assailants, sensing that the wicked act could in no way escape public notice, shot Kaston in one of his shoulders and went on to machete his right arm.

Recall that Ibarapa had suffered heavy casualties in the hands of Killer herdsmen for many years before Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho came to their rescue about 5 months ago.

Kaston managed to survive the pogrom and is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Igangan.
