Synopsis
The first episode of Alchemy of Souls season 2 is indeed one to watch. It sets the tone for what to expect in the rest of the episode under way. In this opening act, we come across Jang Uk, who has now mastered every possible skill and can deal with a soul-shifter without having to flex his muscles. Meanwhile, there are a lot of talks about the petrified body of Naksu.
Dang-gu sees a fleeing soul shifter but fails to catch up with him, but Jang Uk luckily enters Jinyowon without barriers. Back at Songrim, Heo Yeom tells Dang-gu that Jang Uk is being used to kill the constantly appearing soul shifters because he was “reborn with the power of the ice stone.” He then goes on to advise him to keep his eyes on Jang.

Though Jang Uk doesn’t reciprocate Lady Heo love, she continues to bring him concocted medicine. Maidservant Kim also tries to stop Park Jin’s from making kimchi. Do-joo is disturbed over Jang Uk’s health, and at the same time, happy that the Songrim leader spared his life three years ago. In another scene, Bu-yeon is to get married soon so she can create offspring with the capacity to lead Jinyowon with divine powers.
Seo Yul returns to Daeho, but he does not not want to stay away from the place he used to call home. Meanwhile, Cheonbugwan are not allowed to give Jang Uk the money owed for catching another soul shifter…and the story continues.

Synopsis
The Alchemy of Souls season 2 episode 2 plot comes with a more dousing tone, compared to episode one. This chapter is more strategic in that it carefully sees to an affair between Jang Uk and Jin Bu-yeon. It will be interesting to know how this chain of events will toss Jang Uk back to his first love, Naksu, whose soul is unknowingly occupying the monster hunter’s new wife’s body.

Synopsis
Episode 3 of Alchemy of Souls season 2 leads to a debate about a secret wedding, between Jang and Yeon, which was ended by a surprising announcement. This part of the ongoing K-drama also dramatises how Ho-gyeong tries to summon Bu-yeon, and by so doing causes her “pain”. It is an interesting watch that is filled with suspense, surprises, and intense but laughable scenes!
