Davido, Others Risk Arrest As Police Nabs Comedian Oluwadolarz For Endorsing Racksterli

Lagos State Police Command operatives have arrested a Nigerian comedian, Babatunde Ogunleye popularly known as Oluwadolarz for endorsing a Ponzi Scheme Company, Racksterli which allegedly defrauded Nigerians by promising more than 50 percent Return On Investment(ROI).

Oluwadolarz was on Thursay invited for interrogation by the Area J Police Command in the Ajah area of Lagos State, having influenced and endorsed Racksterli owned by Chidi popularly called Blackgold.

In a video made at the Police Station, the comedian was verbally assaulted by a policemen when he was trying to explain that he would have to see his lawyer on the matter.

“I will consult my lawyer and I’ll cross-check the record. Let me talk now,” Oluwadolarz said.

“Are you shouting on (sic) me? Are you crazy? You said I’m shouting on you. Are you mad?” One of the policemen in the station said.

The Ponzi Scheme had defrauded Nigerians who invested billions of naira last year.

According to reports, clients who invested in the Scheme and have not received any return since last year made complaints to the police.

Recall that popular music artist, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido also endorsed the Ponzi Scheme on his Instagram page last year.

As it stands, Davido, also, might most probably be invited for interrogation for the role he played in the endorsement of the Racksterli.

I believe there should be stringent policies regulating online investment companies which are bent on swindling the public with their smokescreens of promises on double or triple or whatever investment. The investors should at least have insurance for their deposits. Hopefully, those grossly impinged will be compensated. ‘Cos the company really gulped millions of naira!

    • Bro, you are right, citizen invest in other countries with rest of mind but here in Nigeria is the other way round
