A Facebook community identified as the YorochiTV has raised a sum of 2 Million Naira to purchase prosthetic legs for two amputee brothers.
The community which comprises of well-meaning Nigerians who identify as Yorochians is a social community where needs of members are met through grants and charity funds.
The two amputee brothers, Andres Idika and Chidiebere lost one legs each after a ghastly accident on May 30th, 2020.
Naija Banquet gathered that Andres traveled to meet the YorochiTV CEO, David Iyenyorochi Obi in a hangout meeting at Akwa Ibom.

Andres who celebrated his birthday on August 13 had jokingly added to his birthday post that no birthday gift would be better than getting him an artificial leg.
Corollary to his request, Iyenyorochi launched the hashtags #ForAndres and #Andreswillworkagain and trended it across their social media platforms to solicit for funds.

To the amazement of all, the community was able to hit their #2M target in less than 48 hours.
Very soon, prosthetic legs would be purchased for Andres and his brother and their dream to walk again would become a reality.
