Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has issued a statement concerning the forthcoming rally which has earlier been scheduled to hold in Lagos.
In an interview with BBC News Pidgin on Thursday, the Yoruba Nation activity suspended the rally which has been proposed to hold on Saturday, July 3rd.
Naija Banquet has earlier written on the attack on Igboho’s house in Ibadan, Oyo State, by gumen. The attack has been reported to claim lives of two people, including the kidnap of Igboho’s wife.
After hours of the attack, he explained that he took the decision of the cancellation of Lagos rally to ensure there is safety and security.
