The University College London, UCL is offering Global Scholarships to International students. The scholarship scheme is aimed at supporting students who are financially handicapped from different parts of the world.
For decades, the London Global University has been known for aiding students with poor backgrounds through their fully-funded scholarship programmes.
The University College London Global Scholarships cater for living costs and tuition fees of successful applicants throughout the duration of their degree programme.
What’s good about this global scholarships scheme, however, is that they are fully funded and the admittance of students is without the IELTS/TOEFL proficiency tests.
The UCL Scholarship is available for both undergraduate and masters degrees.

University College London Undergraduate Scholarship for International Students
The UCL is currently rolling out scholarships to international students from poor backgrounds who wish to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at the London’s Global University.
Eligibility
- Country: International candidates from all countries outside the UK.
- Candidates must come from low-income background
- Candidate must have applied for a full-time undergraduate degree
Benefits
The University College London is offering up to 30 scholarships to international students in 2022, though split to two categories.
- 10 awards of full tuition & maintenance fees
- 20 awards of full tuition fees
Note that scholarship funds are awarded to applicants based on students’ financial needs and the recommendation of the Student Funding Office
Duration
The scholarship is tenable for normal duration of candidates’ course choice.
Deadline
Friday, 29 April 2022 at exactly 5 pm BST.
University College London Masters’ Scholarship for International Students
The UCL is out with funds for international students who want to further their studies at the London’s Global University at the Masters level.
Eligibility
- Country: International candidates from all countries outside the UK.
- Candidates must come from low-income background
- Candidate must have applied for a full-time undergraduate degree
Benefits
Naturally, the living cost for a student in the UCL hostels is approximately 12,000 euros yearly.
However, in this Category, the UCL is giving out up to 70 scholarships to international students in 2022 with an award of 15,000 euros.
Meanwhile, the UCL Global Masters Scholarship may be reviewed as it will be held together with other scholarships, funds or student bursaries received by the student.
Duration
The UCL Masters Scholarship award is valid for only one year.
