Who is Million?
Million, whose real name is Olajide Oluwabukola is a GenZ artiste. He was born in the late ’90s. Olajide, who is known professionally as Million, is the newest kid on the block in the Afrobeats music scene.
The singer and songwriter specialize in the AfroFusion subgenre, and he has made a name for himself by mixing Afrobeat, R&B and pop elements together.
The talented artist has a catalogue of amazing music. He released his debut single, ‘The vibe’ in 2021, and since then he has been on the road cementing his sonic sound on the minds and ears of his fans.
Million was born on the 24 of November 1997. He is 25 years old.
He was into Nigerian parents of southern extraction. His father was an engineer, while his mum was a trader. He hails from the Southern part of the country and was raised in the South-West region. He was born in Ile-Ife, which is located in Osun State, Nigeria.
He spent his formative years residing in the city of Abeokuta where he’s currently studying. He came from a middle-class background and was raised in the Christian faith. He was born into a family of five, which means he has four siblings.
He is a botanical science student of the prestigious Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta where he showcases his talent on the stage and has since then headlined shows on his campus, ranging from; Jhor Party, Afrofest, SSCE, FFDA and so many others.
Ever since Million discovered his passion for music, he steadily pursued his music career. As a high school student, he spent his leisure hours composing original songs, which he performed to the admiration of his schoolmates. He also thrilled his classmates with freestyle songs during lunch break.
His close friends weren’t left out as he would often spice up the atmosphere with freestyle songs or covers of popular songs whenever they were hanging out.

Over the years in the music industry, he has always been on a journey of churning out colourful sounds. And, while his musical journey has been hectic, the quality of his music has never diminished for once.
