The show follows a strict rule that features the following stages: blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts and live performance shows.
The Voice Nigeria kickstarted with the blind auditions, where the judges select 12 contestants from the public auditions. Successful contestants will then proceed to the battle round. Here, singers from the same teams will be put up against each other before a studio audience. Then, the coaches will use their veto power to advance a candidate to the next stage, which is the knockouts.
At the Knockout stage of the Voice Nigeria season 4, the coaches will put up members of the team against each other in a vocal challenge. What however makes this stage fun and most interesting to watch is that coaches can save a contestant from other teams if their coach does not want them anymore.
