Aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to the appointment of Major-General Yahaya Farouk as the new Chief of Army Staff to Succeed late Lt.General Attahiru Ibrahim.
In a congratulatory statement he released on Thursday on social media, Reno Omokri Asks, “will President Buhari die if he does not appoint a Muslim male into sensitive positions?”
According to him, most key positions in the executive, legislative and judiciary arm are head by Muslim males from the northern part of the country.
He said, “the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary, Ministry of Defence, Army, Police, Navy, NSA, DMI, EFCC, DSS, NCS, NIS, NPS, DIA, are all headed by Northern Muslim Males.”
He added that Nigeria has suffered from imbalance because appointments into public offices have not been based on merit under the present administration.
“The reason why Nigeria is so unbalanced is because there is no balance in appointments under Buhari.”
